And this is how the message ran...

All the elevators in my office building have flat-screen monitors posted above the doors. They are called "Captivate TV" and are supposed to flood the elevator rider with even more information in a place that, until recently, was one of the last refuges from technology.

I too am guilty of reading the weather report, the latest headline, or odd fact that I can digest during the short ride from the lobby to my office on the 4th floor. Today I read the results of a strange poll.

And this is how the message ran...

Eleven percent of US citizens would have a chip implanted in their brain, if proven safe, if they could then access the Internet through it at all times, no matter where their location.

Wow...talk about Internet junkies. And it all just sounds a bit too Orwellian for my liking. Then again, so are the flat-screen monitors in the elevators.

Well we said 1 week Wednesday-Tuesday, but then the other day you said one more day (or One Day More, I've got Les Miz on the brain now). Either way we are blogging. We both win. I'll switch over tomorrow.
