One Day More!

I have to tell you, I am really enjoying the "Blogfest" Liz and I have going on. Not only has it forced me to write on a daily basis, but it's also been quite fun (for me at least) to try and fit some Lez Miz lyrics to my blog. But sadly, tomorrow is our last day according to the rules we agreed on.

I suggest that Liz and I take on a new challenge to continue the fun. Same concept, but this time we use 80's songs -- can be song titles or lyrics. What do you think, Lizzie?

So today is October 23 and I sat outside at lunch, with no jacket and drank an iced coffee. It is so warm it's ridiculous! I don't know how long this is going to last and I'm kind of torn about it. I like the warmer temperatures -- today is something like 80 degrees, but it doesn't feel like Fall. The leaves aren't changing colors and the familiar cool Fall air still hasn't happened. It seems like June, yet I have Halloween decorations up. Weird!

Tonight I am driving my Saffron to my mom's for a sleepover. I have someone coming to my apartment tomorrow and the little dog can't be there. It's only a 10 - 15 drive, but I am dreading it. Saffron HATES the car. She cries and shakes the entire time. It's not a pleasant experience by a long shot. (I accidentally just typed "long shit" and made myself laugh out loud -- I act like a 13-year-old sometimes!)

So Liz, think about the idea for the next challenge and let me know. I think it will be fun to post blogs called "Safety Dance" and "Sunglasses at Night", but that might just be me!
