Okay, well not quite 20 years...it's actually 18 years ago today. On June 3, 1990 I graduated from high school. Dressed in a white cap and gown and white gloves (yeah, Catholic school...the girls wore white gloves!) I was forced to begin my journey in grown-up land...I am still trying to find my way.
I cannot believe that much time has slipped past me. Seriously, I don't feel any older and between you and me...I don't feel that much wiser. If anything, I am just as clueless, but now I happen to have a few slight wrinkles.
Toni, I hope you are reading this one because it's been 18 years to the day that I last saw you. To everyone else, my friend Toni moved to Arizona as soon as our Junior year was over, but she was in NJ and attended our graduation.
In other news...
1. Today is the NJ Senatorial primary. I hope you all voted.
2. I put gas in my car this morning. I am still in shock about how much this is costing and I am planning to organize a march on Washington DC in protest. It will have to be a "true" march. I'm talking marching all the way down I-95...I won't be able to afford the gas to drive down.
My title is from Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by The Beatles

How funny... yesterday I looked at my gas receipt as I was leaving the station. When I graduated from high school, $30 bought 30 gallons. Yesterday it bought me just over 7.6 gallons. I, too, will have to walk to Washington.
I almost used Sgt. Pepper's tonight too!
You make me feel old, mine was 22 years ago :)
