Just a Tuesday Evening

A brief and illustrated look at my life...on an average Tuesday evening:

1. Speak with beloved sister-in-law for over an hour. Sweet conversation...how I love thee.

2. Make and eat dinner.

The menu:
Tilapia seasoned with Italian herbs and fried in a thin coat of extra virgin olive oil
Rigatoni in gravy (not homemade...sorry)
Garlic bread

3. Clean up after dinner. Days of the week towels rock, by the way.

4. Do neat things.

Created and hung fall wreath on front door.

Stood on very rickety chair to hang witch windsock. Someday I know I will fall off chair and crash head-first into patio. (Wished my very tall boy lived closer so he could have hung windsock.)

Create autumn leaf garland from pretty ribbon I saved and little cloth leaves I found in a dollar store. C'est magnifique!

All the while, Saffron watches closely. She, too, knows I will one day fall off rickety chair. She seems oddly excited by the thought.

Oh, may I live vicariously? Your decorations are so cute! That reminds me to hang mine.

I never knew you were so Martha. Teach me the way, oh cousin. Wherever did you get those towels?

Karen, funny you mention Martha...the towels are Martha Steward and available at your local KMart. Happy drying!

You made me get off my ass and decorate! :) I did not bother to Fall decorate last year due to house hunting and some chick's wedding (hehe), so it was nice to re-visit with my decorations. So thank you!

Happy Fall!!!!!

Love!
