Welcome to "Diner Whores" - the latest featured series in The Life of Jennifer. Since I love diners (duh, I live in NJ) and often visit them with my bitches, I thought it would be fun to chronicle the events. Amy suggests she and I just visit a different diner every time we go out, so we have a variety of pictures.
This was taken tonight at Meadows Diners on the Black Horse Pike in Blackwood, NJ. It was our virgin outing here and I can testify that the coffee was delightful, although the waitress didn't seem to like giving us each two creamers...she only left three every time she filled us up. Actually the waitress seemed to like us less the longer we were there. When I first sat down she called me "hun". By the time I left I was convinced she was stabbing a voodoo doll of me in the kitchen. The only thing I can think that I did to irk her was to ask for more creamer.
Anyway, the diner was a saving grace tonight, as Amy and I had to go to a viewing and needed to decompress afterward. Plus, I always love spending time with Amy. If you know her, you understand why...she's just such an Amy!
