Bless me, Father, for I have sinned. I was born and raised a Roman Catholic and recently I have been reading about...Buddhism.
What started me on this path of mortal peril was a Google search on the concept of Karma. And that lead to reading about Buddhism, Jainism and Hinduism.
I don't understand the differences really, but I've only begun reading about these things. Karma is a very nifty principle and something that I believed even without knowing what it was. Even when I'm dumb, I'm kinda smart, huh?
My title is from Enlighten Me by Echo & the Bunnymen. It's a song I've always liked since the first time I heard it in Mr. Oracle's bedroom. It reminds me of silly and dramatic days when I was a lovely girl of 18. Enjoy!
PS - That "Mr. Oracle's bedroom" comment above sounded risque...it wasn't! We were listening to CD's...really.

You don't say! Buddhism is the religion (or philosophy, depends who you're asking) that I identify with most. I've read some books and I'm hooked. I no longer consider myself Catholic. My parents are slightly horrified, slightly interested.
I am no where near knowing anything, but it all seems so interesting to me.
The way I look at it, do any of us really know which religion is the "right" one? I find myself wondering if He finds people through many religions based on their need?
