A Table for Five

Last Saturday evening the family met up to celebrate Christopher and Jessica's birthdays. We decided to meet at Cheesecake Factory and it turned out to be perfect for the baby -- it's very family-friendly.

I got there first and, per Jess's text, put in for a table for four adults and a baby in a carrier. Once our turn to be seated came, the staff called our shared last name, followed by the phrase "table for five."

Jess and Chris said it was the first time Zoe was included in a restaurant table head count.

I love that our little sector of the family has grown from four to five. How did we get by for so long with only four?
