[Vac and] So, a needle pulling thread

I have a habit of killing toasters. Don't ask me how. I can have a toaster for one month and it will die on me.

Well, it seems I have the same sad effect on steam cleaners. A few years ago my mom bought a Bissell steam cleaner. I borrowed it. Chris borrowed it. I borrowed it again and when I plugged it in, it no longer worked. Good grief.

After Saffron passed away I bought a newer version of the same machine. My plan was to clean my rugs, then give the machine to my mom.

I cleaned my living room and dining room. Ahhh...how clean my rugs looked. I put the cleaner away. Then I threw out the receipt when I came across it because life was lovely.

The other week I brought the machine to my moms. She plugged it in and it didn't work.

WHAT????

Saturday: I drive to the store where I purchased it and get a duplicate receipt.

Monday: I drive to my "authorized Bissell repair center", Vac & Sew, but it is closed.

Tuesday: I leave work on time and drive to my "authorized Bissell repair center", Vac & Sew. It's open!

Wednesday: I am to call "my authorized Bissell repair center", Vac & Sew, for an update on machine.

Did I mention that I get one free professional rug cleaning per year as part of my rental agreement? Yeah, I never knew that.

And seriously, how clever is my title?
