A Great Weekend

We're nearing the end of Independence Day weekend. And what a great weekend it's been.

Work closed at 1 p.m. on Friday and after coming home for a few hours I drove to Philadelphia to visit with one of my most favorite people in the world, my friend Sean. I met Sean when I was 18 and he was 16...wow, 20 years now! He lives in Berlin, Germany now (squish, squish) and when he visits home I try to always see him. We spent a few hours sitting in his friend Chris' yard, drinking beers, smoking cigarettes and talking. It was a good night.

Saturday I cleaned like a mad woman (love it!) and then I popped in on my mom who had her best fried, Sue, visiting for the long weekend. After that I did some errands and enjoyed the evening.

Sunday my mom had a BBQ and I got to see my darling sister-in-law, brother and favorite little pickle, Zoe. Oh, how I adore her. I wish I could see her every single day, but her parents would kill me! :) She is just a perfect little girl...so smart and funny...just amazing.

And today is a day of rest. Well, rest and doing some organizing. I can't sit still for too long. There's always something to do. Like clean the ceiling fan and organize under the bathroom sink. But that's fun stuff (when you're insane like me!)
