Mourning Roast

It's been a sad two days. Well, sort of.

Yesterday I switched on my beloved, they-haven't-made-that-coffee-pot-for-years coffee pot and nada. No familiar gurgle and drip, drip, drip as the water heated and poured into the glass carafe. Nothing. After seven faithful years and thousands of good-to-the-last-drop moments, the Braun machine bid me farewell.

And now I have no coffee pot.

But, on or about October 27, I will have this baby. She is a coffee-lovers dream come true and she's mine...all mine!
