Disappointed

By now you may realize that I am a certified MAC junkie.

Actually, I have decided to simply state that makeup is my hobby.

Many people have hobbies. They knit, collect art, etc. I purchase makeup.

I always await the cool new, limited-time MAC collections. For example, I fell in love with their holiday collection A Tartan Tale and have been admiring many items from the Peacocky collection.

However, I cannot express, how grossed out I am by their new collection, Wonder Woman.

MAC, for some ungodly reason, paired up with DC Comics, and unleashed this tacky crap on the innocent public.

Why on earth would I shell out my hard-earned money on makeup splattered with a comic book character? The mind reels.

Plus, because of what I assume are licensing fees, products in this collection cost more. For example, a regular eyeshadow quad is usually $36, but in the Wonder Woman collection, they're $40.

I just can't stand it and am so disappointed in a company I usually adore.

The bottom line is the packaging looks tacky, comic book "art" is not attractive and the prices are higher.

No, thanks, MAC. I'll wait for the next collection.

And I hope it shows a bit more taste.
