How to be old like me

Ugh. I've been thinking about turning 35 a lot.

Thirty-five...half of seventy. Ugh.

So, I will turn 35 this May and I've been trying to think of some way to mark the occasion other than putting my head inside a gas stove and taking a nap. I want to do something fun that I don't do on a normal basis, but I can't think of anything. A girl in my office went roller skating for her birthday. That could be an option. I am such a geek to the core that I would have a freaking blast roller skating. Plus, I could break my femur and that's always good for a birthday laugh.

Thirty-five...half of seventy. Ugh.

You most likely know that I am not aging with grace and dignity. Unless kicking and screaming can be construde as grace and dignity. Age bothers me...it always has. TRUE STORY...my mother caught me crying before my 10th birthday. I was crying because I was upset that I was entering a double-digit age. It's a problem I've always had and try to make light of, but I will seriously start having some fits of the mean reds soon because of this.

Thirty-five...half of seventy. Ugh.
