Keep control? How about get a little control over my crazy life?
Here's the thing...no matter how hard I try; no matter what preparations are made...I am still running around my apartment like a crazed maniac in the morning. What can I do to be more organized in order to get out of the house in a timely and calm manner?
Last night I set my regular alarm and my cell alarm to 6 am. I prepared my coffee at night so I could just flip the switch in the morning. I knew exactly what I was wearing today and were those clothing items were. HOWEVER...I woke up at 6:45, walked barefoot into a pee-pee accident my dog had on the rug for some reason, fumbled in the dark looking for a cigarette and lighter to take outside to walk the dog, stepped in a pile of poop outside (not my dog's, mind you), was sweating even though it was cold (seriously, what kind of gross phenomenon is that?), got back in the house 20 minutes later to freak out getting ready for work.
I hate the mornings because I am always over-anxious.
However, sometimes hilarity will ensue. Once when I was working at my first professional job out of college I had a crazy morning and my brother offered to make my lunch as I was getting ready. I should have known that something was amiss...brother's never volunteer out of the kindness of their hearts! At lunch I unwrapped the sandwich he made. It was a PB&J with a big bite taken out and he put a note on top that read "Bite Me."

Oh you make me laugh. I love that I can totally picture these things happening to me any given morning.
This blogging every day stuff is hard. Wednesday is Halloween, last day of Rocky Horror :)
I am late to work EVERYDAY. And I don't have to be in until 9am! Why? I have no idea. I can be up at 6am or 8am, doesn't matter...I'll still roll into work at 9:15. What's up with that??
