I watch Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer every year and I've never quite understood what was wrong with the doll on the Island of Misfit Toys. The water gun that quirts jelly? Yes, I get that. The polka-dot elephant? Again, I comprehend. The train with square wheels? Oui, mon ami. The doll? Not so much.
