Don't say you're easy on me; you're about as easy as a nuclear war

My mom's dog, Harley has two "nieces" -- my dog. Saffron and Jess and Chris' dog, Maggie. Maggie and Saffron couldn't be any more different.

Saffron is going to be 13 this summer, she is scared of her own shadow and is super-mellow. Maggie, on the other hand, is almost two and suffers from doggie ADHD -- she is a true wild child. While Saffron and Maggie have never met, they are both friends with Harley and will spend time with him at my mom's.

Easter Sunday was Maggie's day to run around my mom's yard and just enjoy being a dog. She runs at top speed, she chews sticks and she digs holes. She also tends to drive Harley nuts after a while because she doesn't know when to quit! Saffron also gets on his nerves but because when he wants to play, she's like a lump on a log.

Poor Harley gets tired of both his girls for different reasons, but I swear he does love them both. I think he wishes they were just both more like him. And if could could truly make an Maggie/Saffron stew, you'd end up with Harley.

My title is from Is There Something I Should Know?

I totally get the different personalities involved with the dogs. I would like to love on them all! I almost adopted a mutt at Petsmart on Saturday, but came to my senses. When Bernice hits 9 we'll get a spare. As it is, we watch my mom and dad's dog about half the year.
