I had a reunion of sorts yesterday. Diane and I went to visit Jennifer Travis.
As you may have read a few posts ago, Jennifer was a great friend who I met my senior year of high school.
Like many people one meets in the course of one's life, Jennifer drifted away and our friendship went on hiatus.
Thanks to the wonders of the Internet, she and I "found" each other again and have renewed our relationship.
And thank goodness because Jennifer wasn't a friend that I was alright drifting away from. I never forgot a thing about her and missed her whenever she crossed my mind in these 15 or so years.
We had a great time sitting at her kitchen table talking about the old days and the new ones too! I seriously fell in love with her little girl, Jillian...what an absolute angel!
We meet a lot of people in our lives. Some make an impression, but most do not. Jennifer was one who made such an impression that her absence left a void. And now the void had been filled.
Happiness.
Be certain to read the other girls participating in the 1970's Blogger Challenge -- Blah...Blah...Blog; La Rivera; and Toni's Tales and Travails. Links are on my sidebar.
My title is from We Go Together from the Grease Soundtrack. (I feel like I cheated a bit because we've blogged Grease before. Sorry!)

Not to be corny, but that's how I always felt about you. I hated the way we didn't talk for years. You are too unique, too smart, too fun, to be away from. Glad we met up again. I had missed you.
Darcie is now in on the blogger challenge (Uncle Larry's oldest daughter).
What's Darcie's blog address? Please share.
